We run three different squads at Samford.

Development Squad – when all strokes are complete this squad is a 45 minute class, learning how to be successful in squad – building endurance, learning competitive elements, how to follow a set, how to read the pace clock, and building endurance.

Social Squad – typically for swimmers who just want to swim once or twice a week and have completed or are capable of quickly learning, the competencies we teach in Development Squad.

Competition Squad – not all swimmers who swim in this squad compete, but these are swimmers who like to learn how to swim fast and long. We work on competition stroke, endurance, dives and turns.

Costs: One per week $25, two per week $45 unlimited attendance (social and comp squad only) $60 ($40 for second sibling)
